Coordinated Control of Distributed Traffic Signal Based on Multiagent Cooperative Game

In the adaptive traffic signal control (ATSC), reinforcement learning (RL) is a frontier research hotspot, combined with deep neural networks to further enhance its ability. The distributed multiagent RL (MARL) can avoid this kind of problem by observing some areas each local in complex plane area. However, due limited communication capabilities between agent, environment becomes partially visible. This paper proposes based on cooperative game (CG-MARL) design intersection as an agent structure. method considers not only and coordination agents but also agents. Each observes own area learn strategy value function, then concentrates Q function from different through hybrid network, finally forms final id="M2"> entire large-scale transportation network. results show that proposed superior traditional method.
